Welcome to Classroom
📚 This is our education and resources portal 👋
This is the education and teaching section of Native English UK and provides information about what teaching and curriculum formats we follow, how they are applied in teaching and what resources we use for teaching children and adults.
There is a separate section for IELTS, OET, SELT and TOEFL examinations.
English as a Native Language (ENL)
The following presentation will highlight the major differences between English as Native Language –Vs– English as a Foreign Language, along with recommendations for which methodology to choose.
Online Learning Management System (LMS)
For teaching English, we currently use Google Classroom® system which comes complete with Google Meets® video conferencing suite and Google Jamboard® for whiteboard applications and language explanation. Each student is assigned its own management folder and access, which can also be used on iOS® and Android® devices using smartphone app.
Additionally, each class is recorded in the LMS, which includes (but not limited to) any online weblinks used, documents created, books used, shared folders and assignment tracking. This information can be used for curriculum inspection / completion and student progress. A key part is online assignment system, which the student has to complete and submit online. Additionally, the student has the option to upload handwritten work as photographs, and spoken audio recordings, which can be used for comprehension assessment
This section outlines what kind of teaching methodology is used, including lesson framework.
An overly neglected aspect is academic writing, which forms a critical aspect of learning & development.
This section outlines the UK school curriculum, ranging from EYFS to KS4 (A Level), and how it is being delivered.
This section outlines various education resources we use for teaching our learners.
